Sandman, you have a very well set out website. I've enjoyed a good perusal of your steam engines and I'm impressed with the quality and variety. Cheers!

Hi, this a lovely site and helps me with my conundrum...."How far should I go in a "restoration"?

Question: I have now two boilers, one on a 1930's Marklin stationery unit. Have you had good luck with getting SOFT solder(pf/sn) off of a boiler so that you can re-do with silver solder???

Any hints would be appreciated.

Hello, Enjoyed your site and all your engines. I have some of the same but also a lot of American engines. I am also missing the tag on my SEL Standard and have seen at least five others that were missing. I tend to think a shipment was sent out like that while waiting on their supplier. Nice viewing and informative.
